District Police Poonch launched two helpline nos one for women complaints and another for anti drug complaints . An impressive function was organised at women cell Poonch in which SSP Poonch Sh Rohit Baskotra JKPS , Addl. SP Poonch Sh Mushim Ahmad JKPS DySP Hqrs Poonch Nawaz Chouhan, SHO Poonch Ins .Ranjit Rao , Incharge SOG Poonch incharge Women Cell Poonch PSI Farah Jabeen Magray and other officers and officials of distt Police and media persons participated. Briefing the media persons and the nafri present over there SSP Poonch apprised that dedicated helplines Numbers are activated from today to facilitates the public in general and women in particular so that they can call and put forward their complaints easily. Similarly a dedicated anti drugs helpline number was also put into service so that anyone can share information regarding narcotics easily without disclosing his/her identity. These Helplines shall be available round the clock for which dedicated staff has been earmarked.Besides, these Helpline numbers are being pasted at public transport and at prominent public places.
