On 07 August 2022, Indian Army conducted Poonch marathon of 5 Km with theme “RUN FOR UNITY” to commemorate *AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV* and *HAR GHAR TIRANGA*
Event was one of its kind which had an overwhelming participation of over 2000 people to include young boys and girls. Event was comprised of Run for Unity, cultural progrm on nationalistic theme and Har Ghar Tiranga celebration with national anthem.
All the participants were given Marathon T shirt and certificate.
The event was blessed by the presence of Commander Poonch Brigade, DDC Chairperson, DC Poonch and other important dignitaries of Poonch.
The Marathon has redefined the identity, zeal and energy of the population of Poonch.
Indian Army has once again united the people of Poonch who expressed their rich sense of Nationalism and pride towards the country.
