Today in order to educate and refrain the youth from the use of narcotic substances, Doda Police organized a lecture under the banner of “NASHA MUKT ABHIYAAN.The program was organized under the guidance of SSP Doda Sh Abdul Qayoom JKPS, whereas Sh Raj Kumar SP Operations Doda delivered the lecture on abuse of drugs and its ill effects.
Main objective of the program was to educate the students and spread awareness about the impact of drug abuse not only on individuals but on the society.
Staff of school appreciated the steps of Doda Police to curb the menace of drug abuse from the society. SP Operations Doda stressed upon the students to provide the information of drug addicts and suppliers to Police for taking immediate action under law and it was also asked to identify the drug user so that they could be sent to de-adduction centers for counseling and their rehabilitation. The students are requested to destroy wild cannabis in their area.
