POONCH:3 DECEMBER 2022:
Police Party of P/S Poonch headed by SHO PS Poonch Inspr. Ranjeet Singh Rao under the supervision of Sh Manish Sharma DySP (Ops) and Addl SP Poonch Sh Mushim Ahmed under the overall supervision of SSP Poonch Sh Rohit Baskotra while on patrolling and Naka duty near SK Bridge Poonch intercepted one motorcycle bearing registration number JK19 3565 at 19.45 hrs on which 03 persons were riding and were on the way from Poonch towards Mendhar who were signaled to stop at naka but they tried to fled away but the swift action by the Police team intercepted them and during frisking and checking of the said persons 10 gms of Heroin like substance was recovered from their possession.
The accused persons are arrested from the spot who have been later identified as
- Sarfraz Ahmed S/O Mohd Mushtaq R/O Gohlad Mendhar
- Mohd Aliyas S/O Manzoor Hussain R/O Balnoi Mendhar and
- Mohd Irfan S/O Mohd Farooq R/O Balnoi Mendhar.
In this regard a case Has been registered under the relevant sections of law at Police Station Poonch and the investigation has been taken up.
