Snowfall in higher reaches of north Kashmir, particularly Kupwara district, is likely to continue for the next 12 hrs.
From early morning onwards, light to moderate rain/snow is expected at many places in Jammu and Kashmir.
Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, and Samba districts may also witness rain showers this time. Moderate snowfall can occur in higher reaches of Kathua, Ramban, Doda, and Kishtwar districts. This can also affect traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Generally, light rain or snow (moderate at a few places) is expected in plains of Kashmir Valley.
A couple of more Western Disturbances can affect the Union Territory in the next week.
