KULGAM
A Specific Naka was established at Naibasti, Qaimoh by the Police party of Police station Qaimoh and during checking one pedestrian namely, Bilal Ahmad Mantoo S/O Bashir Ahmad Mantoo R/O Buchroo moving in suspicious manner was intercepted. Going through checking of the said person, officers present were able to recover 130 grams of Brown Sugar like substance and digital weighing machine from his possession.
The drug Peddler was arrested on spot. In this regard Case with FIR No. 05/2023 U/S 8/25 of NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Qaimoh and further investigation into the matter has been taken up.
It is pertinent to mention that Kulgam Police has launched a full fledged war against drug peddlers/drug dealings and will continue its unwavering efforts to eradicate all forms of illegal drugs/social evils within the District. General public of District Kulgam is once again requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddling or any other anti social activity in their vicinity.
