Two bootlegers arrested, smuggled liquor seized

POONCH

Foiling a bid of illicit liquor smuggling, police in Mendhar sub division of Poonch district arrested two bootlegers recovering 45 quarters and 50 bottles of liquor from their possession.

Accused has been identified as Ghulam Mustafa and Ghulam Ahmed residence of Behera, Mendhar.

Police said that a team headed by PSI Naveet ic pp Mankote laid a naka and intercepted the persons from whom illicit liquor has been recovered.

Police said that a case under section 48 A Excise act has been registered in Mendhar police station and further investigation is going on.

Poonch police are taking every possible measure to take legal action against those involved in illegal sale of narcotics substance/liquor against the persons involved.
