In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Bagh e Bahu, PS Bishnah, PP Bathindi and PP Phallain Mandal acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 07 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:
Two dumpers bearing Registration Nos. JK02CM 8121 and JK02CR 8221, by PS Bagh e Bahu
One tractor trolley without Registration No, by PS Bishnah
03 vehicles i.e two dumpers bearing Registration Nos. JK02DC6538 & JK02CV7098 and one Tipper bearing Registration No JK02CJ 9645, by PP Bathindi
One tractor trolley bearing Chasis No. MBNBG53AGLCN05947, by PP Phallain Mandal
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Bagh e Bahu Inspr Surinder Raina, SHO PS Bishnah Inspr Vikram Sharma, I/C PP Bathindi SI Shakil Ahmed and I/C PP Phallain Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action
