Rusted Grenade Recovered in Bandipora, Diffused

Security forces on Tuesday destroyed a rusted old grenade in the Manzpora orchards area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that the grenade was spotted in the Manzoor area of Aloosa.

After receiving information about the grenade, a joint team of the Army’s 26 Assam rifles and police rushed to the spot, along with a bomb disposal squad, and destroyed the grenade.

The official said that an old rusted grenade was later destroyed by the bomb disposal squad.
