Jammu Police organizes reception for 82 students who attended 23RD Rashtra Katha Shivir at Rajkot Gujarat returnees in Jammu

Police under Civic Action Programme organized a reception for the 82 students (32 from Jammu and 50 from Kashmir) who participated in 23RD Rashtra Katha Shivir conducted by Shri Vedic Mission trust at Rajkot Gujarat w.e.f 11.02.2023 to 19.02.2023. The students returned back safely today after more than a week.
The students were received by Sh. Ramnish Gupta, JKPS SP Hqrs. at Jammu Railway station and thereafter the contingent was welcomed at conference hall DPL Jammu by Sh. Shakti Pathak, IPS DIG JSK Range who interact with the participants. While interacting with the students, Sh. Vishal Manhas Dy.SP (Caretaker) shared his experience/views about the shivir/program and also explained the schedule of the Shivir which includes National security, Human Rights use of Science & Technology, Spirituality, Disaster management etc.
The eminent personalities who delivered keynote address to students include Sh. Mansukh Mandaviya-Union Health Minister, Sh. R.N Ravi-Hon’ble Governor Tamilnadu, Sh. Manoj Sinha- Hon’ble LG J&K, Sh. Dinesh Maheshwari-Justice Supreme Court , Sh. Ghormade-Chief of Naval Staff etc.
Besides these students also put forth their views and experience they gained during the Shivir in which eminent speakers from various defence establishments including Army, Navy, Airforce, Coastguard BSF, CRPF NDRF etc. showcased their activities through exhibitions and also educated the students.
DIG JSK Sh. Shakti Pathak, IPS exhorted that the Students who participated in the camp will benefit them in long run and also stressed the need for such camps/Shivirs. He also underlined the importance of acquiring knowledge through experiences to bring change in the society and also wish them for their bright future.
