BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Sh. Ashok Koul on Tuesday said that the announcement of assembly elections in the union territory is expected anytime and BJP’s victory is certain
While talking to reporters in Kulgam,Koul said that the process of reconstituting polling booths and voter lists has been completed in the last week of November. According to him, all the work on behalf of the Election Commission has been completed and as of now only the date of the election is awaited.
He further said that the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be held very soon and BJP has also started its preparations.
“An announcement can be made at any time regarding the assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir as Home Minister Amit Shah also clarified the central government’s position regarding the assembly election”,Koul said.
Koul further added that the Chief Election Commission of India has to decide to hold elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
The BJP General Secretary further said that BJP will emerge as the single largest party in the upcoming assembly elections and Chief Minister will also be elected from BJP only.
