The Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages (JKAACL) Under the supervision of Sh. Bharat Singh (JKAS) Secretary (JKAACL) and with the active support of district Jail administration Poonch has Successfully Organised a folk Music program at district Jail Poonch at 10.30 Am. The program was inaugurated by Sh Khalid Amin(JKPS)SSP and Sr.Superintendent Jail Poonch.
The program was started with the welcome adress by Dr Alamdar Adam (SOCA)Rajouri. Followed by Folk singing by local folk singers.
The chief guest appreciated the first ever mega event of its kind in district Jail premises. He also mentioned and appreciated JKAACL Rajouri for conducting such types of quality programs in peer Punjal Region especially at the venue. This was really a great concept of organising the event for prisoners.
The event was fully enjoyed by the Prisoners and District Jail authorities for long three hours. At the end Dr Alamdar Adam (SOCA)Rajouri made vote of thanks to everyone. Dr Alamdar Adam also made special thanks to District Jail authorities who provide and extended their full support for organizing of such wonderful event. The proceedings was conducted by Sh.Gulnaz Chouhan who was also a leading folk singer in the event.
