District Police Poonch organised one day volleyball championship with the collaboration of Shaheed Dysp Manjit Singh memorial volleyball club poonch at Degree college ground poonch in which 7 teams across the district participating in this championship.chamionship played on knockout bases in first match Khanaiter volleyball club bt Bacheya wali volleyball club 2:0 sets,Gobhi volleyball club bt Behra volleyball club 2:0sets, Shaheed Dysp Manjit Singh memorial volleyball club bt Masjid mohalla volleyball club 2:0sets, Shaheed Dysp Manjit Singh memorial junior team bt Gobhi volleyball club 2:0 sets, Shaheed Dysp Manjit Singh senior team bt Khanaiter volleyball club 2:0 sets, In the final match Shaheed Dysp Manjit Singh memorial senior team bt Shaheed Dysp Manjit Singh junior team 3:0 sets,set score 25:21,25:19 and 25:23.On this occasion Mohd Rashied Dustam (JKAS) district treasury officer was the chief guest he appreciate the efforts of district police Poonch towards the drug pedlars and also appreciate the working of Mohd Tariq chairman Shaheed Dysp Manjit Singh memorial volleyball club poonch towards the society particularly youth of the areas.Those present on the occasion were Dysp Arfat Hussain,JKPS, Dysp DAR Poonch Mohammad Shafiq(JKPS)Ranjit Rao SHO Poonch.
