War against drug continues in Baramulla District .2 Drug Peddlers arrested; 32 grams of contraband Cocaine & 78 grams of Charas like substance recovered at Babareshi road Baramulla during naka checking; Case registered.
Police under the supervision of Sh Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS, Offg. DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by DySP Prob Naveed Ahmad Qazi-JKPS , SHO PS Baramulla arrested 2 Drug Peddlers namely Mohd Afsar Khan S/O Mohd Muzaffar R/O Pehlipora A/P Binner & Mohd Sadiq Mir S/O Mohd Zaman R/O Khamoh Rafiabad who were coming from Babareshi Road towards Main Market Baramulla and we’re intercepted during naka checking . During their personal search 32 grams of contraband Cocaine & 78 grams of Charas like substances was recovered and they were taken into custody immediately.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
