Tightening noose against the bovine smuggling distt police poonch rescued 30 bovines from the clutches of bovine smugglers while foiling bid of bovine smuggling in Surankote area.
On the direction of SSP Poonch Sh. Rohit Baskotra teams headed by DYSP Surankote Sh. Hamid Ali, SHO P/S Surankote Sh. Rajveer Singh and I/C Bufliaz Parvaiz Bhatti established nakas at Bufliaz. During naka checking apprehended 01 Bovine smugglers namely Moh Younis s/o Maqbool Hussain r/o Muglan Gambir, Rajouri who was trying to smuggle 30 Bovines by foot and beating them in a cruel manner. All Bovines were rescued. On checking, they were found without any permission. On this FIR has been registered at PS Surankote u/s 188/IPC/11PC Act and investigation started.
