Kishtwar Police Recovered 04 Missing women, Re-joined with Their Families

Kishtwar police has recovered 04 missing women after hectic efforts. Thereafter all of them have been re-joined with their families.

Police Station Chatroo received different missing reports. Based on that , missing reports were entered vide DDR No.04 dated 30-05-2023, DDR No. 04 dated 04-06-2023, DDR No. 05 dated 12-06-2023 and DDR No. 05 dated 18-06-2023 at Police station chatroo/ PP Mughal Maidan and investigation started.

In view of missing complaints SSP Kishtwar Sh. Khalil Poswal-JKPS constituted different special teams led by SHO PS Chatroo Insp Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday assisted by PSI Moin Khan under the supervision of DySP DAR Kishtwar Sh. Sajjad Khan raided at different suspected locations with the help of technical assistance. During the hectic efforts the missing women’s were traced out from different areas and after completing all legal formalities all missing women have been handed over to legal heirs.

SSP Kishtwar Sh. Khalil Poswal-JKPS said that 04 missings women have been recovered by Kishtwar Police from different locations of UT of J&K. They have been reunited with their families following proper procedure under law. Police is sensitive and responsive with regard to women related reports and leaving no stone unturned to solve the matters. SSP Kishtwar also appealed the general public to cooperate with Police in curbing social crimes in their neighbourhood for which they can share information pertaining to social crime with Police. SSP Kishtwar reassure to community members that the efforts in curbing social crimes shall continue.
