Samba, August 13: Under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police today organised historic ‘Tiranga’ Rally ‘with emotional pomp and show as part of “Meri Maati, Mera Desh, Mitti Ko Naman, Veeron Ko Vandan” programme under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from main chowk Vijaypur to children park which ended with pledge taking ceremony and recitation of national anthem. Thousands of citizens from all walks of life, social activists and Police personnel thronged the historic Tiranga Rally with patriotic fervour and took part in the march & took ‘panch-pran’ pledge. SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar, Deputy SP Ajay Anand, Deputy SP Garu Ram, SHO Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria, SHO Ramgarh Sudesh Kumar, SHO Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma, SHO Samba Rajeshwar Singh among thousands of people, Police officers & officials took part in the historic Tiranga Rally and took Panch Pran pledge . Patriotic songs, National Flag and sloganeering of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ marked the historic Tiranga. On the occasion, SSP Samba Benam Tosh said that taking part in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is a great privilege and those people are really lucky who have found opportunity to take part in Meri Maati, Mera Desh, Mitti Ko Naman, Veeron Ko Vandan Programmes under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav which will go on till August 30, 2023. He further said that the main objective of organizing the historic Tiranga Rally and administering the oath as part of Meri Maati, Mera Desh was to inspire one and all especially youth to become best performers as citizens of the country, strengthen unity, respect those who protect the country, celebrate our heritage, remove any trace of colonial mindset and make India developed and self-reliant. SSP Samba further informed that Samba Police is going to organize series of programmes between 9th and 30th of August 2023 at different places in samba district including mega patriotic cultural programmes & sports activities in border areas of Ramgarh and Samba sectors, rallies involving public and students under the jurisdictions of all Police Stations and Police Posts & other patriotic events at public places in which best performer shall be felicitated.
