Jammu : 18 Aug 2023 Domana “Unlock your potential, ignite your passion and embark on a journey of endless possibilities.”APS Damana organised a Career Fest on 18 August 2023, at the Multipurpose Hall of the School. The program witnessed Mrs. Ghina Vivek Puri, as the Chief Guest. The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Pushpinder Kaur, Principal, APS Damana, Lt Col. PS Lata, and Col Sagar D Rai, SO School, Mrs. Shallu Kapoor, Vice Principal, Career Consultants from various prestigious Universities, Parents and Students of classes IX-XII. Distinguished Career Advisors from esteemed institutions like IIT Jammu, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), National Institute of Fashion Design (NIFD) , Amity University, DAV, OP Jindal Global University, Apee Jay University, University of Life, UPES, Vidya Mandir Classes, DIT University, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Chitkara University and Parul University established their booths at the Career Fest. The motive behind this Career Fest was to equip students, particularly those from an army background, with valuable insights into various educational and career opportunities, providing them with a clear understanding of how their choices today will pave the way for their success tomorrow. This Career Fest enabled students to interact directly with representatives from Universities known for their academic excellence, allowing them to ask questions, seek guidance, and make accurate decisions about their future paths. The Chief Guest, in her address praised the School’s initiative in hosting the Career Fest. She also acknowledged APS Damana’s commitment to holistic education and applauded its efforts in providing a conducive environment for students to explore potential career endeavours. The fest concluded on a high note, with Students expressing their gratitude for the exposure and learning opportunities they gained.
