In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.
In a surprise operation which was carried out at different locations team of PS Akhnoor detained 02 Dumpers bearing registration No.JK02CV-8468, JK02CV- 3965 loaded with Soil and without any legal permission and also seized 02 JCB machines.
PS Kanachak detained one Dumper without registration No. plate loaded with Bajri and without any legal permission.
PP Manwal detained one Dumper bearing registration No. JK21J-5393 loaded with Sand and without any legal permission.
After seizure of these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action.
While giving the details SP Rural Jammu, Brijesh Sharma conveyed that Jammu Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area.
