Doda : 24 Aug 2023 Indian Army conducted a motivational lecture for youth on ‘How to Join Armed Forces’ at Government High School, Gadi (Bhagwah) on 22 Aug 23 with an aim to bring awareness about the career option in Armed Forces amongst eligible and enthusiastic youth. A total of 116 students including 62 boys and 54 girls and 05 teachers attended the event. During the lecture, Company Commander emphasized that employment is a major concern of every youth in the district and thus the eligible and aspiring youth should prepare and participate in different recruitment rallies being conducted by Recruitment Agencies of defence services to join a noble and fulfilling career. He brought out that it is a glorious and noble endeavor to wear the Olive Green and serve your motherland. The lecture was also attended by large number of youth of Bhagwah with great zeal and enthusiasm. Participants were imparted awareness about the physical and educational requirements and the selection process for various types of entries into the services. Army has also been conducting pre-recruitment training to enable the local boys to compete in recruitment rallies. The efforts of the Army were appreciated by the school staff and the students.
