In an act of alertness and prompt action, dedicated police teams of PS Nagrota laid a special Naka at Kamini market Nagrota area under the jurisdictions of PS Nagrota.
Special police teams of PS Nagrota under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota were constituted. The team led by SHO PS Nagrota Inspr Vishva Partap Singh did strenuous efforts and finally rounded up one suspect who was on his way from Nagrota Maket towards Khanpur / Kamini market on his auto bearing Registration No JK02BF-9975. During checking of the vehicle 21 bottles of desi special whiskey 180/180 each was recovered from his possession.
In this regard a case FIR No. 417/2022 U/S 48(f) Excise Act got registered at PS Nagrota and accused got arrested. The accused were later identified as : Ashiq Hussain S/o Mir Din R/o khanpur Nagrota Distt Jammu.
