Samba Police Arrested Female Inter-state Heroin Smuggler Rajveer Kour. 04 Top Inter-state Narcotics Smugglers Arrested Within a Fortnight: SSP Samba Benam Tosh

Under the guidance of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, police have arrested main inter-state female heroin smuggler Rajveer Kour and seized heroin worth rupees 7.50 lacs approximately from her possession during intensified patrolling and special ‘nakas’ ahead of Republic Day.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh said that arrested female heroin supplier Rajveer Kaur is the main inter-state heroin smuggler involved in smuggling & supplying heroin ('chitta') from Punjab to Kathua, Samba, Jammu and adjoining areas . Rajveer Kaur w/o Jaswant Singh R/o Kalewal Bhagat Teh Gurhshankar Distt Hoshiarpur is twenty eight years old young married woman of Hoshiarpur, Punjab and used to smuggle heroin from Punjab all alone in passenger vehicle to evade frisking and used to supply the same to the local suppliers of Jammu division , who, in turn, used to further sell heroin to the individual addicts . She has been arrested with heroin in her possession from outside a 'kullah' towards which she was moving in suspicious condition.
SSP Samba further said that within a short period of fortnight, Samba Police have arrested four (04) top inter-state narcotic smugglers & suppliers who used to supply heroin from Punjab to Jammu division and opium straw from South Kashmir to Jammu province & Punjab. SSP Samba has appealed the general public of Samba district, teachers, parents, guardians and elders of society to assist police in operation against smugglers & suppliers of narcotic substances / drugs so that deadly malaise of narcotics and drugs abuse may be eradicated and youth may be motivated to stay away from addiction of substances injurious to health.
Female inter-state woman heroin smuggler Rajveer Kaur was arrested by a special naka team comprising of Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari, SHO P/S Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria and PSI Deepika Jalotra. A case FIR No. 17/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and further investigation started to unearth the whole illegal network of smugglers and suppliers of narcotic substances in Samba and adjoining districts.
