Ramban 17th August 2023 To commemorate the celebrations of “ *Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”* under the aegis of “ *Meri Maati, Mera Desh* ”, District Police Ramban under the guidance of *SSP Ramban Ms.Mohita Sharma* organized a Tiranga rally at Banihal. The event was presided over by *Sh. Gourav Mahajan,JKPS,Adl.SP Ramban, joined by Sh.Nasir Khoja,JKPS,SDPO Banihal* along with police Personnels of Police Sub-Division Banihal.Tha Tiranga rally was also joined by PRIs, Beopar Mandal Banihal ,College/school students and volunteers of various organisations of the civil society Banihal. Tiranga rally was started from Railway Chowk Banihal with great enthusiasm to spread the message of Patriotism and Nationalism.The Tiranga rally culminated at Martyrs Memorial Banihal to commemorate the sacrifice of Martyrs. The participants chanted ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and displayed banners on the themes of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh, veeron ka Vandhan. The aim of organizing Tiranga rally is to remember the sacrifices of our bravehearts who gave up their lives for our tomorrow. The rally moved with patriotic songs being played and waving of national flag and banners which symbolized their love for nation and their determination to stand united.
