17th August 2023: – As a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, J&K Police organized various events to observe #MeriMaatiMeraDesh #mittikonamanveeronkavandan a nationwide campaign at various Police establishments across the Jammu province. Keeping in View, “Panch Pran Pledge” ceremony was observed at Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu this evening. Additional Director General of Police Jammu Zone Shri Mukesh Singh -IPS read out the pledge. After pledge, ADGP Jammu also briefed the officers/officials of ZPHQ Jammu and explained the meaning as well as purpose of the pledge of Panch Pran, with focus to make India a developed country, eliminate the mentality of slavery, be proud of our rich heritage, uphold unity and solidarity, fulfil duties as citizens, and respect those who protect the nation.
