Under Civic Action Programme (CAP), Anantnag Police organized a tour called “Wadi ki Sair” for 50 poor students of different government schools of district Anantnag from today. This tour is aimed to educate students about the historical significance of various landmarks and sites in the Kashmir division.
Today these students will be shown historical places and Mughal gardens of district Srinagar and tomorrow they will be taken to Gulmarg, were they shall ride in Gandola and also will be shown different tourist places of the area. Students will be guided by experts who will provide them interesting information about each location.
The objective of the Wadi ki Sair tour is to instill a sense of pride and appreciation for their heritage among the students, by connecting them with their history and heritage. The tour is aimed to inspire them to become responsible citizens and contribute to the development of the society.
