Continuing its special drive against traffic violators, Doda Police has booked owner of e-Auto Rickshaw for allowing minor boy to drive and the minor boy while driving it in Bhaderwah town hit two persons in result of which they were injured.
. While giving details, Police said that case FIR No. 148/2023 U/S 279, 337/336 IPC 04/181 MV Act has been registered in Police Station Bhaderwah against Mohd Ismail son of Naseem Ahmed Ganie resident of Jai road Bhaderwah who is owner of e-Auto Rickshaw bearing registration No. JK06B-7910. Police arrested the owner and seized the Rickshaw, besides the minor boy was also produced in Juvenile Court for the offence made out against him for committing the incident.
Mentionable here that Doda Police has launched special drive against traffic violators and so far number of FIRs have been registered against the drivers and number of vehicles have been seized and challaned for carrying the passengers beyond seating capacity and other traffic violations.
Doda Police has warned the owners of vehicles and parents of minors that if any kind of vehicle be it commercial, private, three-wheelers, two-wheelers etc is noticed being driven by un-authorized drivers or minors, owners of the vehicles and parents of minors would be booked under the provision of law and stringent action would be taken against them.
